The Old Man and the Sea, by Ernest Hemingway (Book #5—April)

I’m not quite sure I’ve had a more picturesque literary experience than reading Hemingway’s, The Old Man and the Sea, while sailing in the Caribbean with the coastline of Cuba on the horizon.  The experience was magical, as were the words which reverberated within my mind.  The most poignant aspect for me was the allegory.  If you are in need of a little faith, perseverance, and/or sacrifice, you should definitely give this short read a chance.  You’ll be able to check this, little but evocatively articulate, read off your list in less than two hours.
